user interface properties

Terms from Statistics for HCI: Making Sense of Quantitative Data

This usually refers to specific generic properties that influence the usability or user experience of a system in some way. For example, it is usually the case that interactions are more easily learnt if the interface is consistent. A user interface property can be a form of generative artefact when one deliberately tries to create a system that adheres to the principle, and as such can be hard to evaluate.
